Welcome to the web site of my campaign to represent District 72 in the Florida House of Representatives!

I firmly believe that good government depends on an ongoing dialogue between the people and their elected representatives. I want that conversation to begin here.

Just as important, this offers a way for you to tell me what matters to you, and your ideas for how we can move Florida in the right direction. Building on what I have learned during my career in law enforcement, a successful major cable company subsidiary executive, a Sarasota County Commissioner, and one of the directors for the region's water wholesale utility, I am ready to lead the way to creating jobs and diversifying our economy.

As a resident of Florida for nearly thirty-five years, I can think of few higher honors as serving in the Florida House as a representative of the community where my wife Casey and I have chosen to build our lives together and raise our two now adult sons, Sean and Chad.

I relish the challenge of working hard to preserve what is best about our state and improve those areas where we can do better.
